This Newsletter provides information & updates on activities and initiatives of the IBS Hyderabad Library.

 

v      The Library team welcomes the students of class of 2010 and PG Executive Program.

 

v      The Library added 400 Business and Management books in the month of March and April 2008.

 

v      The Library has added a 32 CD-ROM set of National Geographic to the collection. It contains every magazine, every article from 1888 to 2000.

v      Following CD-ROMs on Management have been added to the library collection.

·         Time Management

·         Principles of Marketing

·         Business Plan

·         Performance Management

·         Stress Management

·         Creative Problem Solving etc.

 

v      Foreign Language CDs. of French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, and Chinese are also available in the Library.

 

v      The Special Collection of following books is on display, on the first floor.

·   Guinness World Records 2008

·   Ripley’s Believe it or not

·   100 Wonders of India

·   The Sports Book

·   Encyclopedia of Indian Cinema

·    Universe: The Definitive Visual Guide

·   India’s Popular Culture

·   History: The Definitive Visual Guide, etc.

 

v      The list of recently subscribed international Journals & magazines is available on the INTRANET.

 

v      Following Online databases can be browsed through Intranet, and e-Resources section in the library

v      EBSCO

v      Emerald Management Xtra

v      World Development Indicators

v      CMIE

v      Cygnus Online

v      Reuters Business Insight

v      Marketline,

v      Cabell’s Directories

 

v      Wi-Fi is available in all sections of the Library.

 

v      Lifts are operational in the Library.

 

v      The library is now easily accessible from the newly built ‘Knowledge Bridge.

 

v      The library is organizing a painting and photography contest on 27th May 2008.  For details please check the library notice board.

v     SNAPSHOTS

     “Think India” unfolds the story of India that most of the Americans do not know and should know about. How India is a better ally to the USA than China is very well portrayed in this book.Vinay Rai and William L Simon have attempted to initiate a positive thought process about India Inc.
